The property is inspired by modern ship cabins and is equipped with every comfort: self check-in, en-suite private bathrooms with walk-in showers, parquet floors, electronic key access, living room with sofa, dining table, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, induction cooktop, kettle, microwave, coffee and cappuccino machine, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, heating, and air conditioning. Additionally, the external balcony offers a view of the sea and the city.
LOCATION
We are located in the center of Catania, in one of the historic squares of the city - Piazza dei Martiri - halfway between the train station and the historic pedestrian centre.
Our apartment is located on the seventh floor of a residential building equipped with two lifts and concierge service.
HOW TO GET THERE
Our strategic position allows guests to reach us easily both by car and by public transport.
- BY PLANE. From Vincenzo Bellini-Fontanarossa airport in Catania, it is possible to take the Alibus public bus, which leaves every 20 minutes. Get off at the central station and walk back to Piazza dei Martiri, where we are (400m). Alternatively, you can take a taxi (cost around €25) or book a private transfer in advance.
- BY BUS. Most of the urban and suburban buses stop at the central station. From there, continue on foot along Via VI Aprile for 400m and you will reach Piazza dei Martiri.
- BY CAR. From Palermo: From the E45 highway, take the "Tangenziale" exit and follow the signs to "Porto di Catania". Once you reach the port, go straight on for about 300m until you reach Piazza dei Martiri. From Syracuse: From the A19 motorway, take the exit to "Porto di Catania". Once you reach the port, go straight on for about 300m until you reach Piazza dei Martiri. From Messina: From the A18 motorway, take the "Catania centro" exit. Leaving the motorway junction, take Via Vincenzo Giuffrida up to the traffic light. At the traffic light, turn left until the crossroads with Viale Vittorio Veneto. Turn right and take Viale Vittorio Veneto. Once you reach the train station (on the left), turn right along Via VI Aprile. After about 400m, you reach Piazza dei Martiri.

- PARKING INFO: It is possible to park your car for free in the streets nearby: we recommend along Via VI Aprile (free white squares) or on Via Terranova, on the left side of the road. Warning: in the blue boxes, parking is subject to charges even in the evening (the ticket must be generated from the specific machines). In the white lines, parking is free while the yellow lines are reserved for disabled. There are also private parkings not far from the apartment. The average cost is €20 per night.
- BY TRAIN: Our apartment is only a 5-minute walk from the Catania train station. Continue for about 400m on foot along Via VI Aprile and you will arrive in Piazza dei Martiri.
- BY SHIP: Our apartment is located right in front of the Port of Catania. It is possible to reach the city of Catania by ship with the main national and international shipping companies.
HOW TO MOVE
Our strategic position allows you to reach the main tourist attractions on foot but also the
station, the port and the urban and suburban bus stops.
The train station is only 500 meters away; in just 10 minutes on foot you will be in Piazza Duomo and the Theater
Massimo Bellini is only 600 meters away.
